Some images from the story I'm trying to put together for my Electronic Photojournalism class, Sacred Heart Church here in Columbia. The festival of the Virgin of Guadalupe was celebrated a week early on this past Sunday.

Volunteer Glenna Lawson explains the basics of osteoporosis at the YouZeum on December 4. This was a tough one--none of our equipment worked and the walls were all black! The result is a very harsh image with the flash.

Thanksgiving Whippet

Our host had two whippets--they are hilarious dogs. This one actually settled down long enough to relax a little with a guest. I used curves in Photoshop for the first time, not sure I did it right. Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am grateful for so much.
