End of Summer

A image from a campfire program assignment last month in Gettysburg National Military Park, somehow appropriate to the end of summer since the weather is changing so quickly here in Central PA. I went to this assignment and there was actually no campfire: there was a big light behind the boy and a movie screen in the front. (Our editor said it looks like a still from an Elvis movie--I agree!). Having been to a lot of these types of programs growing up in a family of naturalists/biologists, it made me a little nostalgic. What was not so nostalgic was pulling out of the battlefield at 10pm and getting lost on the backroads and crab shacks of Maryland for over an hour. Perhaps a GPS might be on the Xmas wishlist this year...

Thanks, Mito! I used a tripod, there was so little light.
