Color Correction Assignment--Fluorescent
Felicia Hoskinson scrubs down the counter during the graveyard shift at the Waffle House off of Rangeline. Hoskinson is a potter, artist and was a "Scottish lass" in a recent Renaissance Fair. She is currently thinking about applying to art school. "I was interested in nursing, but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be; it's not like the 1950's movies." Hoskinson would sell her pottery if it weren't "too weird" for the general public.

Single Flash Assignment
Got through it but the first time with using an off-camera flash was like having a third arm. This was for the single flash assignment.

Lightbulbs
Lightbulbs from a church in the Lower Ninth Ward, New Orleans. I saw an excellent film last weekend called "Trouble the Water" (http://www.troublethewaterfilm.com/). Incredible footage from a hurricane survivor as well as just a powerful and poignant story. Made me want to revisit my New Orleans pics from the summer.
